
The ECLECTICS ART EXHIBITION Tuesday 6th May to Saturday 17th May 2025
Surrey Artist, Rue Stanley presents this unique exhibition at The Horton Arts Centre, Epsom, bringing together an eclectic mix of artistic styles and perspectives from 9 local artists. Selected artists will be at the exhibition every day ready to talk about their work and share with you their inspirations.
Our line-up of talented artists includes:
- Lynn Toulson who creates awe inspiring portraits and contemporary local landscapes.
- Dale Sheen, a unique pen & ink artist specialising in detailed fantasy works.
- Judit Matthews, an award-winning local illustrator. Well known in Surrey.
- Laurence Berle, a talented photographer specialising in beautiful wildlife.
- Emma Champion specialises in “cameraless” photography. Offering viewers a fresh and intriguing approach to photographic art.
- Sue Sheen, a contemporary abstract artist whose vibrant and evocative pieces explore the depths of colour, form, and emotion.
- Sophie Knight-Crow, a talented local artist working in mixed media.
- Kate Berry createssensitive figurative work in a variety of media. We are delighted to host her first exhibition.
- Rue Stanley who creates surreal, unusual mixed media work which is highly tactile using acrylics, metal leaf, glass and collage.

About Rue Stanley: Rue Stanley is an experimental mixed media artist celebrated for her surreal and quirky creations, in particular Pineapple Goat World. Stanley’s innovative approach features the layering of acrylics, mediums, glass beads, gold leaf, and painted paper collage, resulting in rich, sculptural compositions. Rue exhibits regularly in Surrey, with Art Surrey, First for Art and at The Horton. This is her second annual exhibition at The Horton.
