My exhibition scheduled to show at Denbies in December was cancelled due to new Covid restrictions. Instead, I am delighted to share with you my paintings online and offer you the chance to purchase them at exhibition prices.
I am a mixed media artist and I create artworks using acrylics, collage, paper, and all types of media. My intent is to make tactile, vibrant artworks. In the last few years, I have been travelling and finding inspiration from my experiences. I take lots of photographs and use these to inspire my work. So, I decided to travel using my imagination– I was inspired by the story of Antonio Bolivar Salvador from Brazil. Sadly, I only knew his story through his obituary in the Economist Magazine. See Blog for more information
I have embellished my paintings with stories of the Anaconda and Jaguar, Lord of the forest. I researched forest butterflies and birds and included them too. I have expanded my escape plan to memories past, local places and even Mars. For my escape no plane ticket was required just a vivid imagination!

Acrylic, isopropyl alcohol, acrylic ink, mixed media on Yupo 18×14” mounted & framed, Exhibition price £150 Yupo is plastic paper, this allows the acrylic to behave like water colour.
